The first day of school in 2013 was unlike any other we've had.  We were still on the base in temporary housing when school started on August 5.  This meant that I had to have everyone up, dressed, and ready to go to drive the 20 minutes (because of construction detours) to our neighborhood so they could catch the bus to avoid transportation confusion once we closed on the house.

The girls have great teachers and have really done well this year.  I'm still glad we only had to do the crazy driving back and forth twice a day for three weeks.
