Zack had a very exciting 5th birthday.  Our house was supposed to be done in mid-July, but it wasn't.  July 31 was the last day of our stay in the vacation rental, and to help the landlord, who had a new family coming in that afternoon, we agreed to be out of the house at 8:00 a.m.  The van was loaded, the house was clean, so we quickly opened some presents before heading out.

We had gotten permission to use our 30 days in TLF since we hadn't used any when we arrived, but we couldn't check in there until 3:00.  We hit Denny's for breakfast, ran a couple of errands, saw Despicable Me 2 at the theater, hit Chick-fil-A for lunch, then found out that we could check in a little early.
We settled into our two-bedroom, one-bathroom home for the next three weeks, grabbed a cake from Walmart, and finished out the day in a completely new residence.  Zack seemed to think it was a grand adventure and was a happy little man.
The new game Grandma sent him helped keep us busy in our tiny, and temporary place.
